Wicked Windows Production is casting for the 2013 Action Film Challenge! Auditions will be held on Friday, May 31st from 6:30PM to 9PM at Jansen Dance Project 5330 Primrose Lake Circle, Tampa FL 33647. Directions can be found here http://www.jansendance.com/location.php. This is a non-paid opportunity. While there is some flexibility, filming will be an intensive, weekend based process in June during daylight hours. Casting the following roles:

The IT Girl- Female, 20s to 30s, any ethnicity. The girl next door who gets caught up in the drama. Reasonably fit, good comedic timing, will be doing some on camera fighting.

The Agent- Male 30s, any ethnicity. Athletic, martial arts and/or stage combat experience a plus.

The Boss- Female 30s+ any ethnicity. This lady is *in charge*, vaguely sinister. Reasonably fit, will be doing some on camera fighting.

The Terrorist- Male 30s+ any ethnicity. Imposing. Athletic, martial arts and/or stage combat experience a plus.

Henchman: Male, 20s to 30s, any ethnicity, the terrorist's backup. Athletic, martial arts and/or stage combat experience a plus.

The Guard- Male, any age, any ethnicity - Typical rent a cop

Now accepting video  auditions for a 30-40 minute short film titled Denouement, a story of the contemporary reclusive student writer, whilst struggling to press on past his creative block on his current project, he his suddenly thrust into a deadly dilemma with a group of "old" friends, blow, and a man dying by the minute.

Looking to begin shooting late January, at the latest.

Free seminar on how to get started as professional actor, the steps to take, and what to avoid 

This seminar will be conducted by Justin Padilla, Film Professor and Assistant Academic Chair of Film and Photography at The Art Institute of Tampa. Mr. Padilla has worked with several Los Angeles Casting Directors including Joey Paul Jensen (Disney Casting), Krishna Bullock (Nickelodeon Casting), and Paul Weber (MGM Casting), to name a few. Additionally, he has a working relationship with numerous local Talent Agencies including: DK Model and Talent, Level, Seven, Diamond Agency, BMG, and Central Florida Talent.  The seminar will be followed by a Q & A session and is highly recommended for anyone who is interested in entering the professional business of acting.

Casting call for a senior thesis short film. Ryan Sullivan is holding a casting call on November 18th at The Art Institute of Tampa (4401 North Himes 33614) for his film "I Killed a Super Hero". 

The auditions will be held from 10a.m. - 4p.m.

Parts Casting:

Michael: Probation Officer, 35-45 years old, stern/serious.

Kip Redfeild: Main Character, 22-25 years old, Conflicted/doubtful

Ronin: Super Hero, 30-40, tone,lean,athletic. Preferably a stunt man or open to stunts. 

Skull: Super Villian, 25-40, athletic, crazy/murder.

Fantasy Short Film Casting for Lead Role:

 

Currently casting for the role Azeele, a male between the ages of 15-18, less than 6 foot tall. The character is a deadly samurai but has a child like appearance; slender body, baby face and long hair is preferred. Martial arts knowledge and experience with a sword is a plus, but not required.

 

The shooting date is currently set as Saturday December 3^rd.  Compensation will be a DVD copy of the final movie. Food and beverages will be provided on the day of the shoot. If you are interested in the role please send an email to Tampafilms@gmail.com providing a recent headshot and your resume. Auditions will be held in the next month.
